3.5 inch Mild Steel Rain Cap

The 3.5 inch mild steel exhaust rain cap is designed for larger industrial exhaust applications where the stack bore falls in the 89-90mm range. This size is commonly found on high-output generator sets, heavy industrial plant and large forklift trucks operating in covered environments. The gravity-operated cap mounts over the 3.5 inch (89mm) vertical stack outlet, closing under its own weight when the engine is at rest to prevent water, dust and pest ingress, and opening freely under exhaust gas pressure during engine operation. The mild steel construction is well suited to indoor generator rooms, covered industrial buildings and sheltered plant enclosures where moisture and corrosion are controlled.
