8 inch Mild Steel Rain Cap

The 8 inch mild steel exhaust rain cap is a specialist large bore component for 8 inch (204mm) vertical exhaust stacks on very large industrial plant installations. This size is required on the largest generator sets, primary crushing plant and major industrial engines where the exhaust stack outlet reaches the 8 inch specification — a bore size rarely stocked by mainstream suppliers. The gravity-operated cap closes under its own weight when the engine is off, protecting the large exhaust system from weather ingress and debris, and opens automatically under exhaust gas pressure when the engine runs.
