This 127mm I/D x 310mm (5in x 12in) stainless steel braided flexi joint is the longest standard offering in the 5 inch bore range, providing maximum flexibility and vibration isolation for large industrial exhaust applications. The 310mm (12 inch) body length makes it the specification of choice where a 5 inch bore system must accommodate significant engine movement, thermal expansion or angular misalignment — common in large stationary and mobile generator installations, heavy crushing and screening plant, and custom industrial exhaust systems.

The extended length reduces the stress imposed on each end connection and helps prevent exhaust leaks and premature fatigue failure in high-duty-cycle industrial environments.
