3 inch Mild Steel Rain Cap

The 3 inch mild steel exhaust rain cap is one of the most widely used sizes in the SCL range, reflecting the prevalence of the 3 inch exhaust bore across medium-to-large generators, agricultural machinery, construction plant and industrial equipment. Designed for sheltered and indoor applications, this gravity-operated cap fits over a 3 inch (76mm) vertical exhaust stack outlet and closes automatically under gravity when the engine stops, keeping rainwater, debris and insects out of the exhaust system during periods of non-use. It opens without restriction under exhaust gas pressure when the engine runs, adding no meaningful back pressure to the system.
