The 5 inch (127.5mm I/D) stainless steel exhaust bellows features a 254mm overall length — 51mm longer than the standard 203mm models — providing an extended flexible section for large industrial exhaust applications in the 5 inch bore specification. This extended length is particularly beneficial at the 5 inch bore size, where the forces acting on the exhaust system are considerably greater than at smaller diameters, and where additional movement capacity helps protect the exhaust installation from premature fatigue and failure. This bellows is primarily used in large stationary and mobile generator sets, high-output crushing and screening plant, and large industrial engines where the exhaust outlet reaches 127-128mm in diameter.
